Crypto needs no key. For stocks, ETFs, and forex pairs (QQQ, SPY, EUR/USD…), create a free account at twelvedata.com, copy the API key from its dashboard, and paste it here — it's saved in this browser only and sent only to Twelve Data. Free tier ⇒ those instruments poll every 2 minutes instead of 10 seconds. Forex tickers can be typed as EUR/USD, EURUSD, or EUR-USD — all normalize the same way.

Data: crypto via Kraken public API (no key, 10s polling); stocks, ETFs & forex via Twelve Data (free key, 2-minute polling — paste it under Calibration · Data feed). Futures still need a paid feed; QQQ and SPY track NQ and ES closely in the meantime. The state strip under the chart shows how the classification evolved bar by bar; a state that keeps flickering is itself the “undefined — sit out” answer.
